Evaluation Working Group

The Working Group was established to comment and provide guidance on matters such as lawfully establishing and applying evaluation criteria, determining the most economically advantageous tender, the evaluation of pricing proposals, risk adjustment and the extent of information to be disclosed to bidders to comply with transparency.  Outputs from the group included:

  • In June 2010 - A Paper "Issues in Evaluating Public Tenders" – which aims to clarify some of the areas of legal uncertainty in relation to evaluation and to assist in the development of best practice across public procurements and the promotion of effective and fair competition for public contracts.
  • In June / July 2010 - Events in both London and Manchester to launch the paper and the issues addressed in it.  Use this link for the event materials.
